"...and ye shall be witnesses unto me... ...unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Acts 1:8
Greetings from the Missions Team at Old Time Baptist Church,
We have been presented with an amazing opportunity this summer. We have the chance to go on a mission trip to Trinidad through our church.
We will be there during the Summer, July 17th-25th. We will be traveling with our Youth Pastor and his wife, David and Erica Beyea, and staying with Missionaries James & Beverly Hoffmeister as we partner with them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will also be taking them some supplies to be able to use in the communities they are serving.
During our stay, we will take on numerous tasks, including staffing a summer camp for the local youth, connecting with others, maintenance on the church and grounds, and other acts of evangelism.
We are grateful that God has provided us this opportunity to serve. We ask that He bless us with the strength and support to take on the role of spreading His word and helping those who live in Trinidad. We ask that you consider sending your support as well.
The biggest blessing that you can provide would be to include our team in your prayers. We ask that you pray for our safe travels, open hearts, the communities, and people we will be serving, and for each day to come with the chance to plant the seed of faith.
In addition, we will each need to raise $1,500 before May 1st, 2023, to cover the cost of our trip. If you would be willing and able to support us financially, please know that it will be used to facilitate our ability to go on this mission and thus support those in need. There are approximately fifteen of us that are trying to raise the money to go and serve.
We are able to take donations by cash, check, or online. Please make any checks out to Old Time Baptist Church. To give online please CLICK HERE – Please select the Missions Trip Fund and leave a note in the memo that the donation is for the “Trinidad Mission Trip." These are tax-deductible donations.
We thank you for your support in each way. May God bless you for your consideration!

We have an opportunity to send a group from our church to the island of Trinidad this coming July, to help minister to a church there, working with Pastor James Hoffmeister. We will be helping with a youth camp, building maintenance, and supporting the work there with evangelistic outreach.
We are holding a LIVE auction at the church on Sunday, March 5, following the evening service, for some very special items donated by local artists and collectors. Please look over the following pictures of each rug or painting, and if you wish to bid online, use the comment section UNDER THAT SPECIFIC PHOTO to list your maximum bid.
The highest bid whether online or in-person will win the item. If an online bid wins, we will be in touch about pickup of the item.
We are not able to do live updates of the current bid during the auction itself. If you want to be sure to get the highest bid, it would be best to attend in person.
EVERY DOLLAR RAISED THROUGH THIS AUCTION WILL SUPPORT THIS MISSIONS TRIP!
Donations can be made by check sent to Old Time Baptist Church, or online by CLICKING HERE and selecting the Missions Trip Fund and leaving a note in the memo that the money is for the "Trinidad Missions Trip."
